Teacher Who Made Toys from Drawings

At the end of the school term, my son’s teacher presented her whole class with handmade toys based on drawings they’d done.

I posted photos of them online to share how wonderful they were. I guess it came at the right time of the year, because it became a very wide-spread story and captured the hearts of a lot of people.

I wasn’t going to set up this fundraiser, as I’m fairly sure the teacher involved (who wishes to remain nameless) would feel uncomfortable. However, a lot of people have asked for ways to give a little gift to her to help pay for supplies, or just a “thank you” for bringing them a little joy.

As this is the internet, I’ve seen others trying to make money off this for themselves. I don’t want this to happen at this time of year, and especially from such a beautiful story.

If possible, it would be great if you could donate to a school in your area, but any funds raised here will be sent in full to the teacher to do with as she sees fit.
