Teacher Cert/Program Enrollment/Classroom Cleanup

Hey guys! This is the first time I've ever thought that I may need some help. As many of you know, I graduated from UT Tyler 2 years ago with Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism.  I kind of fast tracked in that program because of my music career, and the need to get my album and band established convinced me to spend my first year out of school working to get that off the ground. I am still pursuing music. That will never go away; but my first priority is to provide for my 2 children who are both over 6 feet tall, active in sports, and eating machines.  (HAVE YOU SEEN THESE MONSTERS?) I need to be on their schedule, in their faces, and available to them whenever I can. I have spent 16 years of time exploring and doing lots of things to work around them. (Barber, store manager, soldier, stay at home mom, photography, freelance journalism, volunteering, cleaning houses, social media marketing). Being their mom is the most important thing I will ever do. This is where I am now. I have to cart them to approximately 8-10 practices a week, 2-3 games,  and then I normally have 2-3 shows.  (Eli is also a budding musician, so just tack that one on.) The one career that gives me the most days with my kids, and flexibility to perform every weekend, is a career in education. For me, teaching comes natural. My military service, overall inclination to lead, and desire to help others made me try a whole bunch of things, and deal with alot of personalities. Finally, I think I found a great match. For the last year I have worked at Kilgore ISD as a substitute teacher, nearly every school day, and I just completed a 12 week teaching assignment with 7th graders at Kilgore Middle School.  I LOVED IT. It was challenging, rewarding, and gave me the reassurance I needed about diving in fully to this career field.  I wanted a trial run, to see if it was going to be something I could sustain while performing. I survived, and I AM SO EXCITED. I now have been hired as a full time instructional aide with my own classroom. I am developing tools and lessons to help college ready and dual credit high schoolers in my classroom, and am finally working toward my alternative certification. The certification process is lengthy, will cost me around $4300 when its all said and done. But they can get me started with the enrollment fee of about $330. They will deduct the remainder of the fees over time once I am hired for a teaching position. I am asking for $500 total so I can use what's left to get some things for the classroom I am in now: paint, scissors, pencils, pens, paper, glue, tissues, sanitizer, wipes, a trashcan, dry erase markers, hall passes, postit notes, a gradebook, folders, hole punch, red pens, etc. Hopefully I can teach science, english, or journalism when its all over. Or even special needs. I want to teach middle school like my mom did for 15 years.  If you are interested, I made a classroom wish list on Amazon , but the most important issue is I cannot afford the fee for enrollment to the program to Texas Teachers. We just won't have it anytime soon.  Eric and I have been through the ringer with the layoff and the job in Ft Worth, so if you would like to help, I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL.  Thanks so much! ❤
