Hi friends, family and strangers!
My name is Delaney Partlow and this summer I have the amazing opportunity to do a Fire and Fragrance Summer Outreach trip in the Himalayas!
I will be trained and equipped as a missionary and then I will go overseas to preach and share the good news of Jesus to people who have never heard of Him before.
Summer Outreach is a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) program with one week of biblical training and 2 weeks of practical outreach (it is almost like an accelerated bible school that focuses on character development, knowing who God is, and learning how to make Him known). I will be spending the first week being trained through biblical teaching, hands on discipleship, practical serving, and prayer. For the second and third weeks, my team and I will focus outward to unreached places like villages, slums, city centers, etc… We partner with local ministries to share the gospel, pray for the sick, and hand out bibles to unreached tribes who have never had the word of God before.
I am so ecstatic to have been accepted and given this opportunity! For this entire 3 week outreach I will need $2,900. This cost includes food, housing, airfare, visas, food for poor, and ministry expenses. I am working 2 jobs to save money for this trip and college, so any donation will help and will be GREATLY appreciated. However, I would love nothing more than a ton of prayers for my future team and I.
