Supporting Ali's Dream For Her Family

Donation protected
***UPDATE***8/22/2019 From Ali's husband, Josh:
I just wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers that they have been sent up for our family since March when Ali was diagnosed. On August 21, 1999 I took Allison Williams to be my wife, my best friend, and my soulmate. On August 21, 2019 God took my wife home to be his bride.
There will be a celebration of Ali’s life and legacy on Saturday, August 24th at 10am at LifeBridge Christian Center, 2202 Alpine Rd, Longview.
In leu of flowers, we are asking for school supplies to be donated to Region 7 Head Start.
We would love to hear your funny stories about Ali. You can send them to [email redacted]

**|| THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SACRIFICES AND PRAYERS OVER THESE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS. PLEASE KEEP THE PRAYERS COMING. WE ARE ASKING IF ANYONE IS ABLE TO HELP, EVEN $5, IT WOULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!! THERE ARE SO MANY EXPENSES THAT JOSH IS LEFT WITH, AND ADD IN FUNERAL EXPENSES AND CARING FOR THEIR FOUR CHILDREN, AS WELL AS TRYING TO PAY OFF THEIR HOUSE. ALLISONS BIGGEST WISH WAS TO KNOW THAT THEY WOULD ALL BE TAKEN CARE OF WHEN SHE WENT HOME TO HEAVEN.||**

*FIGHTING FOR ALI*
**UPDATE 08/01/2019**

Hello friends,

We, as Josh & Ali’s family, would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers & support these last number of months, as Ali has fought this terrible fight with Pancreatic Cancer. We are beyond blessed by your generosity. Thank you!

Some of you have seen the video of Ali ministering in music on 7/28/19. We have attached this for you as well. Unfortunately, Ali was admitted into a hospice facility the following day after taking a down turn.

We know she’s considering what the future looks like for her family. Her greatest wish is that they be able to continue to live in their home. Just over a year ago Josh and Ali bought their first home. It’s a lovely, modest ranch house on a few acres and when they bought it, they were fulfilling their dream of having a forever home, of raising their kids with space to run & play. But in March that dream moved into the background, as all the effort they could muster went into this fight for Ali’s life. Josh took on role of primary caregiver and he has done an amazing job caring for Ali and shouldering the responsibility of all that entails; as well as caring for the children.  But it has also meant that he has not been able to work for the last few months. Because Ali had only rejoined the work force in the last few years after being a stay-at-home mom for most of her adult life, we have discovered she doesn’t qualify for Social Security Disability Benefits. Going forward their resources are very limited. Now, as things progress, we know it would give her great peace of mind to know that Josh and the kids would be able to continue with that dream of living in their forever home.

With your help, we would love to do this for Ali. We are setting a goal of raising $160,000 to pay off their mortgage, so Josh and the kids don’t have to worry about a mortgage payment, among all the other bills, expenses and decision that that will have to be made in the coming weeks & months. If you could find it in your heart to donate to this very worthy cause, we would be forever grateful.

Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity,

The Williams Family

*UPDATE 07/24/2019*

This is from Ali's sister Lisa:

This is another reason why I will ride in the 2019 #DempseyChallenge. For my little sister starting hospice care, her babies, for every family who has been tormented by this horrible disease. I might not be able to save my sister but from now on my voice will be used to stand up against cancer and comfort those affected. 1 in 3 of us will be affected in some way. 1 in 3. Let that sink in....

*UPDATE 5/17/19*

Ali and I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and the financial support that we’ve been getting through this season in our life. We have been so blessed by how much love everyone has shown and how willing people have been to help in anyway they could. We could never express what that has meant to our family!

We wanted to take a moment and give everyone an update on how things are going at this point in time. Ali has done a few rounds of chemo and has been very sick because of it. Blood work has not been good so this past week we had scans done to see if the cancer was responding to the chemo. Unfortunately, the chemo is not working at this time and the cancer and tumors are still growing. We have decided to stop doing chemo because there is no point to continue if the tumors are not responding to it. We are looking at other options but we are truly leaning in to God at this point in time and asking for a miraculous healing.

God has given both of us a peace that we truly can’t explain. Ali’s health insurance is going to run out soon and we’re going to have to pick up the cost through COBRA so she can continue to have health insurance through this situation. We know that from the beginning God has been in charge and we believe and trust in the plan that He has. We are asking everyone to continue to pray for a miracle and that God will continue to reveal Himself to us through this situation. Thank y’all for all the prayers and support.

UPDATE:
Ali has just received confirmation today that she has STAGE FOUR pancreatic cancer and it has spread.  They need financial help as they continue to walk this journey. She NEEDS her husband, Josh by her side at all times in this next phase, and obviously, that means there is no income coming into the household. There are MANY expenses, regular, and ADDED that are going to pile up and we are asking for your help. PLEASE. We will continue to  STAND and PRAY for a miracle and rally around Allison and her family. Josh and Ali are SO GRATEFUL for your prayers and for your financial help. #FightingForAli

I am creating this fundraiser for my beautiful cousin Ali.
If you know Allison, you know that she is a WARRIOR. She is there for you whenever you need her, whatever for. Right now, she is in the fight of her life as she has just recently learned that she has advanced stage pancreatic cancer.  This is a long road ahead for her and her family and we are asking if any of you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Ali is only 41 years old and has a wonderful husband, Josh, and four beautiful children. There are many financial needs right now as both Ali and Josh are out of work, and many other family members are several hours away having to travel and take time off of work themselves. They will have to travel to Houston for initial cancer treatment ( five hours away) and it will be very costly. There will also  be co-pays for visits and prescriptions. During this lengthy journey with missed work, there will be mortgage payments due and weekly household expenses.  Every little bit that you can help with will go a long way. We thank you for your donations, but even more importantly, we COVET your prayers. Ali is strong and BRAVE and there are so many people who love and support her. Let's come together and storm heaven and do whatever we can to help!
