update: Leia’s surgery is scheduled for January 7th, 2026! we thank everyone for your donations and all your help

As most of you know, I have a slight obsession with cats. So it really was no surprise that I foster failed Leia when everyone else was too blind to see how spectacular she was. I started fostering her in 2021 and a year later, she was mine forever. Leia just turned 8 years old and a couple of months later, was diagnosed with malignant carcinoma cancer on her mammary gland. While in good spirits and still showing off her belly any chance she can, carcinomas are a very aggressive form of cancer and they quickly spread to other important internal systems, such as the lymph nodes. Luckily, Leia’s chest x-rays are clear and show us the tumor hasn’t spread. But in order to keep it that way and help Leia’s prognosis, she needs a mammary chain removal surgery, where the surgeons remove the tumor & mammary gland entirely. I’m sure you all can guess that this is not a cheap option, roughly $9,000, and unfortunately, it’s the only one that gives her more healthy time with me, Pickles & Dolce. We’re asking for any type of love, and any kind of support to help to with her surgery and vet bills, and be such a huge saving grace in helping her live a long, full, and spoiled life.
