Raising Money for @Driftershoots

A person charged with murder typically has a bond set around $500k. Isaac Wright, who took photos, just had his bond raised to $400k. He needs your help.

As most of you know, on Dec. 17, 2020, Drift (known to many as Isaac Wright) was arrested unnarmed at gunpoint in Arizona by 15 police cars and a police helicopter, all for the alleged crime of taking photos. As unbelievable as it sounds, it is tragically the case.

Cincinnati police initially issued a local warrant for his arrest, but wanted to escalate the situation and bring the warrant to a national level in just under a week’s time. In order to do this, they unlawfully charged Isaac with numerous false charges (including F-2 burglary, which is categorized one level below murder) despite the fact that the lead detective said ON RECORD, that the only crime Isaac commited when allegedly unlawfully entering these buildings was taking pictures. The prosecution also acknowledged ON RECORD that nothing was stolen, nobody was hurt, and that Isaac has no prior criminal history.

The prosecution has also turned his six years of honorable military service against him by stereotyping him as a psycho, PTSD-ridden veteran who is a major threat to society. Anyone who knows Isaac knows this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Isaac is now being imprisoned in Cincinnati at the Hamilton County Justice Center after spending 2 months incarcerated in Arizona. He has come close to being released on bond multiple times, but each time, the day before his scheduled release, the prosecution has decided to fabricate more charges, raise his bond, and keep him incarcerated. Currently, his bond is set at $400,000.

Isaac needs help. Here’s what you can do:

1) The most important thing you can do is donate to his GoFundMe to help chisel away at his daunting bail cost, along with thousands of dollars in legal fees.

2) If you can’t donate, we are asking for letters of character to be sent to the judge in charge of Isaac’s case, Judge Lisa Allen. 1000 Main St. Room 510, Cincinnati, OH 45202

3) Share Isaac’s story literally anywhere you can. The sickening injustices committed by the Cincinnati Police Dept. and all involved in the prosecution of Isaac and numerous others must be made public knowledge. Isaac is just one of thousands of black men and veterans who has suffered at the hands of a broken justice system.
