TDD Christmas Giveaway 2017

Merry Christmas, TDD! We are now in our fifth year of raising money for families in need at Christmas. This is the most fulfilling thing we do all year long, and you guys have always been amazing at helping us reach our goals. Here's how it works. We work with schools, churches, friends, or anyone else that will help us find children from families that are struggling during the holidays. We get the information on these children such as clothing/shoe sizes and games and toys that they like, and then we do the shopping and wrapping and deliver them to their home. These are children that likely would not have had a christmas without it. We have helped children whose parents have lost jobs, been ill, gone to prison, or even passed away. We don't care the circumstances, we just want to know that on Christmas morning, they will have a load of presents under the christmas tree. We generally spend approximately $500/family. Of course, bigger families we may spend a little more, but EVERY PENNY goes to these children, and then some. It is a long and tiresome process (especially for April), but seeing the smiles on these kids faces is worth every second of work, and every dollar thats spent. In the first four years we have raised over $25,000 and helped about 40+ families at Christmas time alone. We would love to hit our goal of $5,000 again this year (and of course more, if we can). But we've got to get started! It is a time consuming process and I should have started two weeks ago. So PLEASE consider giving to this and helping us this Christmas season to help others that need it so much. You'll get to see thier happy faces here on TDD and I promise you, you wont be disappointed.
