Tommy's Journey

So, one my very best friend's 18 year old son was diagnosed with an epilepsy condition back in November 2013 but they are still trying to figure out & learn what exactly is causing his grand mal seizures, so they can better treat & help prevent the seizures all together. His last seizure was a week ago. They seem to be happening more often. They have him on so many medications. They have to keep changing the doses because they have yet to find the exact perfect dose. So anyway,
They have been given this awesome opportunity for her son to go to Mayo Clinic in Rochester , Minnesota, to see some of the countries top neurologists. She will have to drive her son out there & they will have to stay in a motel or hotel for about a week. This is where it gets tricky. She will obviously need to take that week off from work, she will need to pay for a rental car for the trip, cover gas, lodging, food for the both of them. This is really an opportunity of a lifetime, literally. They are to be out there June 5 of this year. Times are tough all over. I know they need some help making this happen for their son. Its gonna be impossible to be able to afford this without a helping hand. I wish I could just take care of it! But I can definitely try my best to make sure they get what they need.
