Help Matt Pasquini Get to the DNC!

Hi everyone! My name is Matthew Pasquini, I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and I've been elected by my peers and the voters of Illinois' 13th congressional district to be a delegate at the Democratic National Convention and cast my vote for Bernie Sanders.
After me, my parents will have helped three kids go through college and I personally don't have the financial means to cover the cost of attending the convention. Per estimates by the campaign on the cost of attendance,I'm seeking a total of $4000 dollars to help fund my trip as delegates are required to pay for travel and lodging on their own dime.
Without question, my top priority at the convention will be to officially cast my vote for Bernie to be the nominee of the Democratic Party for President of the United States. But I'm also asking for you all to make an investment. As a young person looking to get into politics, I think this will be an amazing opportunity for me to get my feet wet and begin building the connections needed to help sustain our movement beyond the convention. Bernie's campaign has born a new generation of democratic leaders who will continue fighting for systems of fairness and justice that benefit everyone, not just the few. I want to be on the front lines to help this movement realize its full potential and I want everyone who helps me fund this trip to be a part of it too.
My goal is to raise as much money as I can as soon as possible to lock down my hotel and flight, but I will be taking donations up until the weekend before the convention (July 25th - July 28th).
