Siskiyou Arts Museum (SAM) is more than a building; we are the ART in the HeART of Dunsmuir. We are asking for support to secure our home for the future of arts and culture in Siskiyou County. Your donation is needed to help with this final push to buy our building. We have raised $175,000 through donations, grants, and Artist Supporting SAM sales. We need your help with only $25,000 to go!

SAM (501C3 nonprofit) opened its doors in March 2013, quickly becoming a hub for the arts community in Siskiyou County. This opportunity to purchase our historic building in downtown Dunsmuir will ensure that SAM continues to serve our community of creators and appreciators.

SAM operates primarily with a dedicated team of volunteers who host monthly artist receptions, promote events, create posters, mail postcards, maintain the building, and staff our gift shop. Over the past 12 years, SAM’s two gallery spaces have hosted hundreds of art exhibits, as well as workshops for all ages, live performances, and served thousands of visitors.
