Hello, my family and friends! I was selected from a nationwide search to take part in Binibining Pilipinas USA, held at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on August 20, 2017 at 4pm.
I am candidate #13 and competing with more than 20 other young Filipina American women. I am writing to ask for your support as I begin my journey to the Binibining Pilipinas USA crown.
If you choose to support my #JourneyToTheCrown, at whatever donation of your choice, I will enter your names and an optional congratulatory text in the official Binibining Pilipinas USA 2017 photo magazine, which is given to people and businesses across the nation and in the Philippines.
I am the only one representing central California, so all your support, especially those from my hometown of Bakersfield, would mean so much to me.
This experience means a lot to me as it allows me to share my heritage with so many people and because I get to represent my hometown. Thank you so much ahead of time. Maraming salamat po.

It will be open to the public and tickets are $65 per person. In the past, BPUSA was hosted by well known celebrities such as former Miss Universe Philippines 2010 Venus Raj, actors Belinda Panelo, Iza Calzado, and Gabby Concepcion. This year the female lead host is actress KC Concepcion. Past judges include Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran, Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas, Miss Philippines Earth 2014 Jamie Herrell, model Amadeo Leandro, Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ariella Arida, and pageant trainer Jonas Gaffud, who trained Pia Wurtzbach and Maxine Medina. We are currently awaiting confirmation of this year's judges.
This pageant is truly a once in a lifetime experience and will be taped and shown on The Filipino Channel.
