<div>Papá debe ser sometido a una operación quirúrgica para efectuar una artroplastia total de caderas, es decir una cirugía para reemplazar ambas caderas dañadas por unas prótesis.

<div>Aun cuando nuestro padre es joven (58 años), desde hace algunos años viene presentando fuertes dolores en la cadera y dificultad para realizar algunos movimientos cotidianos o rutinarios, hasta el punto de ser contraindicado realizar deportes que es una actividad que ama y que seguramente compartisteis con él. Luego del COVID esta condición empeoró, a pesar que se ha sometido a diferentes evaluaciones y tratamientos. La recomendación médica es reemplazar ambas caderas pues los huesos están rozando uno con otro, por el desgaste total del cartílago en la articulación.

<div>Tal como lo mencionamos anteriormente, esto además de irle restando progresivamente su capacidad de movilización le genera un dolor permanente.

<div>Para poder realizar la cirugía necesitamos apoyo económico, por ello te compartimos el informe médico y el presupuesto de las prótesis de caderas requeridas. Hemos incluido en el monto a recaudar algo más que el costo de la cirugía, con la finalidad de poder sufragar los equipos médicos que facilitarán el día a día y que son indispensables para lograr una pronta recuperación, así como la fisioterapia que tendrá que realizar.

<div>Today, we are using this platform to request your support and help to help our father, Víctor Brana, regain his quality of life.

<div>Dad is undergoing total hip replacement surgery, which is surgery to replace both damaged hips with prostheses.
</div>
<div>Even though our father is young (58 years old), for several years now, he has been experiencing severe hip pain and difficulty performing some every day or routine movements, to the point that sports, an activity he loves and one you surely shared with him, are contraindicated. After COVID, his condition worsened, despite various evaluations and treatments. The medical recommendation is to replace both hips because the bones are rubbing against each other due to the complete wear of the cartilage in the joint.

<div>As we mentioned above, this, in addition to progressively reducing his mobility, causes him constant pain.
</div>
<div>In order to perform the surgery, we need financial support, so we're sharing the medical report and the estimate for the required hip replacements with you. We've included more than just the cost of the surgery in the fundraising effort to cover the medical equipment that will make life easier and is essential for a speedy recovery, as well as the physical therapy he'll need.
