Greetings Friends & Family –

Our family is in need of love, support, encouragement, prayers, as well as any and all monetary donations that your generous hearts are able to sacrifice. On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in a moment’s notice, our lives were forever changed – the young, healthy, fun loving, kind-hearted and humorous Johnny was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. Johnny hadn’t been feeling well for a few weeks, passing his exhaustion and aching body to some sort of common cold or flu, Johnny continued pushing through the pain, until he just couldn’t take it anymore. Upon arrival to the emergency room and the initial tests that were ran, the attending staff noticed something was severely wrong and Johnny needed immediate and intentional care. He was then rushed over to Northside Medical Center to their Leukemia Treatment Unit where he was admitted, stabilized and informed of his diagnosis and subsequent prognosis.

As you can imagine, we were devastated by this news and had no idea what we need to do or how we would do it. Johnny was left feeling afraid, alone, sad, defeated, overwhelmed and unsure about his future. But after the initial shock wore off, Johnny picked up his faith and tapped into his will to fight and face this thing head on! Though it won’t be easy, there is a long road ahead, Johnny is willing to do whatever it takes to be healthy and to beat this thing!

Because of the aggressiveness of this type of Cancer, Johnny had to immediately began Chemotherapy treatment – he will continue a series of treatment over the next few weeks and will continue this treatment through an in-patient treatment program at Northside Medical Center. Unfortunately, Johnny does not have medical insurance to cover the expenses for his treatment; and after just two days in, his medical expenses had already climbed over $35K and that doesn’t include the Chemotherapy – these expenses will continue to increase and this is where we can really use your help!

We are asking for monetary donations from our friends, family and supporters that will go towards Johnny’s medical expenses, as well as the living expenses where Johnny will return to after treatment. No amount of money is too large or too small and we graciously accept whatever you can afford to give.

We recognize the sacrifice that you might have to make to donate to this fund and we want you to know in advance just how much it means to us.

Life can be incredibly unpredictable. One day you are healthy, full and free, then the next day you are in the fight for your life. One can choose to be a victim of their circumstance or choose to be victorious – we choose to be victorious and look forward to celebrating Johnny’s total healing very soon!
