Dear Friends,
What would be the best way to celebrate Christmas THIS year? When you are with your family and children for Christmas and your thoughts go beyond to the other families and children who has lost everything due to COVID-19 you can help them to smile. People who may not be smiling right now. This is the harsh reality for many right here in Lisbon.
I am excited to tell you that the Expats & Locals community will collaborate with the Lisbon Project to provide food and basic necessary items to the elderly, refugees and families in Lisbon this Christmas who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This will be the Expats & Locals community's first attempt to distribute humanitarian aid to people who need it most. We will continue our help in a non-profit manner for many years come.
Over the four years the Lisbon Project has been helping thousands of refugees and children by giving them food, shelter, jobs and education.
Please consider donating to this amazing cause - whether €10 or €100, not only to help out people who need our help most but also to create trust and hope for each other.
