Taylor's Cambodia Teaching Mission

For those of you that might not be aware, I am currently working towards financing a two-week teaching mission in Cambodia happening in late August.

I’ve always dreamed of doing something like this, so it was totally surreal when my school announced this amazing opportunity. It was almost like a wish come true because for as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of serving in a third world country, teaching overseas, and seeing Cambodia, amazingly all things that this mission would cover!

Only 1 in 4 Cambodian children has access to formal education. The goal of this mission is to instill reading and writing literacy among the young Khmer learners in rural areas as well as offer educational support to indigenous teachers.

The cost to attend this mission is $2000 and it includes flight, board, educational supplies, and transportation within the country, and the deadline is April 3rd.
