Hello friends & family, 
thank you for taking a moment to read about my campaign for my scoliosis treatment.

From the outside looking in , you may be thinking that I am one of healthiest & happiest women you know. And maybe I am, but I also have another story to tell. 

In 2013, at the age of 20,  I had a horrible accident that left me with a subdural brain hemorrhage and prominent contusions in my occipital soft tissue. I was in the hospital for weeks, and underwent many months of physical & group therapies. All of my time, energy, and focus went to healing my brain. What I didn't know was that 4 years from now, my scoliosis would develop from a mild curvature to two moderate curvatures in my lumbar and thoracolumbar spine. 
A moderate curvature is between 20-40 degress, and becomes severe (surgery) at 45 degrees. 
Living with chronic pain for the past 18 months it became clear that I needed to see a doctor, and after having new imaging done, it was even more clear how quickly I need to seek treatment. 

"I was terrified when I saw the images of my spine. I can't even believe I can even stand up straight."

I have been prescribed to begin immediately with an aggressive 12-week chiropractic corrective care program, 3X weekly. Once these 12-weeks pass, I will take another set of x-rays to ensure that the treatments are being as effective as we hope them to be. In additon to my treatments, I will also be practicing at home physical therapy exercises, receiving custom yoga therapy, and musculature bodywork. Once the goal for this campaign is reached, I have to keep in mind that I may need an additional 8-12 weeks of treatment and more x-rays.
Despite my fears and doubts, I know I am ready to begin this tremendously long path of healing. I am ready to not be debilitated by pain, and release this suffering my body has been going through for years. This is something I will need to see regression in before I can live out some of my greatest hopes and dreams. Please help me if you can. Any sized contribution is sincerley appreciated.
