Taylor's Surgery Costs

Donation protected
Just last week Taylor was raising money to place in our offering plate for Syrian Refugees.  He held three lemonade stands and made 157$.  All of which he gladly gave over to our church.  Taylor has a heart of generosity and spirit for life.  Now I need to ask you for some generosity...I am Jennifer, a Christian, a first grade teacher, and Taylor's mom. Taylor was born on December 18, 2010.  When his father and I tell Taylor the story of his birth we tell him how absolutely magical the day unfolded.  That God gave us this miracle and gift. That the world would be forever changed because of his life. While all of those things are true, what he doesn't know are the details that are unpleasant.  I had Taylor when I was 36 years old. Taylor was to be due December 20.  I worked up until that last day before the holiday break.  I went to the OBGYN as planned and was sent to register at the hospital.  Two days of labor later and the doc made the decision to go in and get him.  Taylor was in distress and did not breathe after his c section. During labor I contracted Chorioamnionitis and unfortunately during birth Taylor injested this infected fluid.  Seven arduous days later, on Christmas Eve, we were discharged and have been together since.  From birth till present Taylor has had to see specialists out of MUSC for care.  He sees a pulmonologist regularly and she takes care of his asthma and allergies.  Recently we were sent to see a pediatric ENT that specializes with children just like my Taylor.  This surgery coming up will include a third set of tubes and some sinus correction. Taylor's asthma triggers massive infections that come on fast and powerful.  Once sick, he often finds himself at the hospital. Taylor has lost a tremendous amount of hearing due to inner ear infections and improper drainage.  This will be surgery number four for Taylor and once all of the surgery is complete he will need hearing aides.  The money I am requesting is for the hospital.  Specifically the money will pay for the commencement bill. In order for Taylor to be operated on, a portion of his bill must be satisfied first. Insurance will pick up some but not all. I am not one to put my hand out, but when it comes to the love of my child, I would do ANYTHING.  I would walk to the end of the earth for this child.  I recieved the call that Taylor's surgery is scheduled for July 11th and that a large portion of my financial obligation needs to be paid prior to surgery.  The hospital will create a payment plan for me moving forward but will need a chunk before they will admit him. I just don't have this kind of money.  Though this is a humbling experience, my fervent desire to get Taylor healthy, supercedes.  Please consider donating to this sweet child's surgery.  If you have read this far, I thank you!!!!
