TaylorMade Road to Recovery!

Donation protected
Monday, July 30th started just like any day. That is until lunchtime. While on his break, Chris started to feel a little sick. He continued on with his day and tried to push through but he just couldn't shake the bad feeling. Chris ended up asleep in the break room. When he was awakened, he stumbled a little. The ambulance was called. At the hospital we learned that he  suffered a stroke. The first few days he was on a ventilator and his condition was not clear. The ventilator was removed. He's able to talk to us now. It was wonderful to hear his voice (even if a bit muffled)! His ability to communicate was also the first sign that the stroke did not impair his cognition. Because of the side effects, he will have to undergo some short term rehabilitation.  Chris has received great medical care and through it all I have been by his side. I am devoted to helping him recover and we want to keep his focus on that and not on finances. In addition, there will be numerous expenses related to Chris’ hospital and rehab stays, and there will be many future expenses once Chris returns home. It is not clear when Chris will return to work. We want to do everything we can to help Chris in his recovery. We want him to focus on his health instead of our financial burdens.Chris has worked tirelessly for years, giving us the best life he can. Anything you can donate to help Chris,Katherine, KeAirah and Kareena will be most appreciated! It will go to paying for Chris’ care. We will post updates on this page to keep people informed of Chris’ progress. Please share this on Facebook! Our family thanks everyone for their help and asks that you all keep us in your prayers.
