My name is Taylor Melville and I am a Junior at Florida State University located in Tallahassee, Florida.
Traveling and making a change in this world are things I hold with great value. Being accepted into the Global Scholars program at Florida State University was my chance to make my dreams a reality. For my summer internship with Global Scholars, I have decided to travel to Senegal to work with an organization called Maison de la Gare, who tend to Talibe children in a clinic who come in with wounds and sores from begging on the streets all day. However, with great service comes even greater costs and I am in need of any small donations you can give in order to pay for my plane tickets, immunizations, visa, program fees and other miscellaneous costs.
