<div>Hello, my name is Taylor Silenzio. I just turned 35 years old and am currently recovering in the hospital after undergoing a life-changing 5-organ multivisceral transplant, including a kidney autotransplant. As I face numerous challenges and uncertainties during this time, I am reaching out to my friends, family, and anyone who is willing to help me raise funds to cover the growing medical expenses and other costs associated with my recovery.

</div>
<div>My story:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was diagnosed with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, a rare inherited disorder that led to the development of a 10lb tumor that ruptured my bowels in December 2022. This near-fatal experience resulted in the loss of 85% of my small intestines, leaving me dependent on TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) for all my nutritional needs. Determined to regain my health and independence, I found Jackson Memorial Hospital, where I was offered a multivisceral transplant that would give me a chance at a more normal life and cure my disease.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On March 20th, 2023, I received the call for a matching donor and underwent four surgeries in just over a week. The 5-organ transplant included my stomach, pancreas, small intestines, colon, and a kidney autotransplant. During the first surgery, doctors discovered a tumor surrounding my kidney artery, which required them to transplant my own kidney in an inverted position.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I am still in the hospital, making steady progress towards recovery. However, the medical expenses, FMLA costs, and other unforeseen financial burdens have begun to pile up. Additionally, I will be immunocompromised for the rest of my life, leaving me highly susceptible to even the slightest sicknesses. As a result, I am asking for your support to help me get back on my feet and overcome these challenges.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Goal:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal is to raise $35,000 to cover the costs associated with my medical treatment, FMLA expenses, and other unexpected costs that have emerged during this difficult time. This amount will help me manage my living expenses for three months, pay off my current medical debt, and invest in essential safety equipment for my weakened immune system.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How you can help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>1. Donate: Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will help me cover the growing medical expenses and other associated costs.
</div>
<div>2. Share: Please share my story with your friends, family, and social network to help raise awareness and support.
</div>
<div>3. Prayers and well-wishes: Your thoughts, prayers, and emotional support mean the world to me as I navigate this challenging journey towards recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support. I am forever grateful for your help during this difficult and vulnerable time in my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With heartfelt gratitude,
</div>
<div>Taylor Silenzio
