THIS PUPPY IS TOO BEAUTIFUL TOO DIE - PLEASE HELP!
Meet "Taxi" - a beautiful homeless puppy who sleeps under the deck of an abandoned restaurant on the beautiful island of Santo, Vanuatu.
HIS LIFE IS IN DANGER - HOMELESS DOGS ARE USED AS A SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD SOURCE IN VANUATU.
Taxi's Story:
- On a visit to Santo last week I met and instantly had Taxi imprint on me, turning up day and night to my bungalow, following me everywhere and even sleeping in my bed!
- He was named by Megan, owner of Santo Horse Adventures, for his ability to use the horses as a water taxi when he took his daily swim with them and followed them on their trails!
- Megan found Taxi under an abandoned restaurant deck about 6 months ago and has been looking after him as best she can as she is unable to provide him his forever home as much as she would love to because she has two guard dogs at home.
-Unfortunately no one else has been found on the island to be in the position to adopt him so he just wanders the beach and sleeps rough, scavenging for food.
THERE IS A GREAT RISK THAT HE WILL END UP BEING KILLED AND EATEN. THIS IS COMMON PRACTISE IN VANUATU.
I cannot let this happen so have made enquires to adopt him into my home in Tasmania where he will be loved, fed and given a secure and long life - his forever home.
IM SEEKING HELP WITH AIRFARES, VET AND QUARANTINE FEES SO PLEASE GIVE WHAT YOU CAN TO MAKE THIS BEAUTIFUL DOGS LIFE A LONG AND HAPPY ONE.
