<div>After years of navigating the complexities of the UK’s medical transition system, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve now been on testosterone (HRT) for 15 months. It’s been a beautiful, affirming journey, and I’ve felt more and more like myself with every change.

<div>But one significant piece is still missing: top surgery.

</div>
<div>Wearing a binder every day has become physically exhausting—restricting movement, limiting my ability to breathe deeply, and causing persistent skin irritation, especially during warmer months. Beyond the physical toll, the emotional and social strain of navigating the world with a chest that doesn’t reflect who I am is increasingly unbearable. Whether it’s changing rooms, the gym, public bathrooms, or simply walking down the street, there’s a constant sense of vulnerability and exposure that chips away at my wellbeing.

<div>Top surgery isn’t just a want. It’s a necessity for me to live with ease, safety, and authenticity. It’s the final, essential step in aligning my body with who I am.

<div>I’m currently raising £12,000 to cover the cost of surgery with a trusted, London-based surgeon. Accessing private care is the most viable and timely route for me, especially given the long NHS waiting lists and the current state of trans healthcare in the UK.
</div>
