Tasa's Colorectal Cancer Fight

On March 22nd our Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend Tasa was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer (Adenocarcinoma), which has metastasized to her liver.  This news is a shock not only to Tasa but her entire family. The aggressive treatment plan is in place with surgery to remove the mass which was removed successfully Tuesday April 3rd.   Once she has regained her strength from surgery she will begin 12 weeks of in home chemotherapy and possible radiation. 

Those who know Tasa will agree that she has always put her family first, and is the glue that keeps not only her immediate family but extended family together. She has an unconditional love for the outdoors and finds her peace and serenity in hiking all the trails our beautiful city has to offer. Although this vicious disease will put a hold on Tasa's free spirit and love for nature, she is ready to fight like she's never fought before.  The courage and strength she shows in her everyday life will be the fuel and motivation needed to win the biggest fight of her life. 

Unfortunately, as insurance will not be covering all of the necessary surgeries and treatments Tasa will need, this go fund me was created to help relieve some of the financial pressure that the months ahead hold. Our goal is to make this journey as easy as possible for the entire Campos-Alexander family and hope that through this process she feels all the love and support from her community of family and friends.
