Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, we have an amazing opportunity to represent Australia on the world stage.
The Team:
An independent community group of 14 to 18 year olds, who's hobby and passion is Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), and of course Robots
The Event:
First Tech Challenge (FTC) World Championships. Metal Minds Robotics is the only First Tech Challenge team in Tasmania. We Design, Build and Program a competition robot each year.
We have competed at Australian National Championships for 5 years. We have won several awards at national Levels, Control Award (2 years), Innovation award (2017) now is the time for the world awards.
We have an opportunity to take the team to Houston, Texas for the WORLD Championships, April 18th to 21st 2018.
Our Fund Raising Goal:
It takes money to take a robot and it's team to the other side of the world.
