Tarryn’s Knee Surgery

Please consider donating to help my sister through her 14th surgery on her right knee. She had her knee replaced a little over 2 years ago, and it has slowly gotten worse over time. After being out of work for almost 6 months now on medical leave, and seeing many specialists in this time trying to help her find a cause of her chronic pain, she has finally found someone in Florida to help her.
She will be having another knee replacement, this time with a self stabilizing model. Since her last one doesn’t have this feature, and her PCL is non-functioning, she has been in extreme pain. Additionally, she has a low grade infection in the current knee replacement and so they will be treating that with IV antibiotics for 6 weeks as well. This will, by far, be the biggest surgery and most difficult recovery she has ever faced.
Therefore, my dad has to take unpaid medical leave to take her to Florida where she will stay for 10-14 days (though she should be staying longer) and then come home to recover. The soonest she could be back to work is January. And in the mean time (and since she has been off of work) my parents have been helping her, and they don’t have the funds to do so anymore.
Tarryn really needs this knee to get herself out of her chronic pain and into a better situation. Please consider helping her and my parents to make the trip to and from Florida to get better and back to work and a normal life for a 32 year old.
