Tarri Strickland Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Hi All!
I am writing to you to request your help for my friend Tarri Strickland.  I met Tarri some years ago working at UIC.   She had a vibrant spirit, full of energy and most of all she was willing to go above and beyond to help anyone.

In 2016, Tarri left UIC to move back to St. Louis to help take care of her father who had taken ill.  While on her way running an errand, Tarri was involved in a near-fatal car accident, where she broke her arm, leg, several ribs and injured her voice box, leaving her in a body cast and unable to speak.

It's been about a month since her accident, and although her situation is rather dismal, Tarri is thankful for being alive and in good spirits.  She is currently taking occupational and physical therapy to regain her strength and learn how to walk and talk again.

Today I am asking your help with a couple of things: 1) Your prayer for Tarri and her family, that God would grant them the strength and the wherewithal to make it through this process and her recovery be a speedy one; 2) If you can support Tarri by giving a donation, because she was not working and does not have health insurance.  She's been in the hospital a month now, and the medical expenses are exuberant, and because of this, Tarri is in great need of financial assistance, most immediate.

Thank you for your prayers, warm thoughts, well-wishes, compassion and whatever donation you can give would be of great help. Be blessed.
