Tara's Memorial Fund

Donation protected
I never physically met Tara, but we messaged back and forward with phone calls for nearly 5 years, we got to know each other over those years.   We had a common goal in that we both had a hand in managing the 2 biggest Irish pages in Alberta.  I watched Tara and Jason give their time generously to help new people who arrived in Edmonton.  I remember her once messaging me trying to desperatly get advice for one of her co-workers who was being so badly treated by their employer, this lady was not Irish - but that was Tara, it did not matter - she just wanted to help.

We messaged each other giving out when messers would appear on the pages and try to upset people - she would be furious about how they would go out of their way to just upset people....

Tara did all this while also trying to navigate the harsh Canadian immigration system, her and Jason had so many set backs - being let down by unscrupulous people - but you would never see her take that out on others on the page - she continued to try and help even after they had to return to Ireland...

Tara passed away tragically and suddenly, she loved Jason, Erin, Ben and Shane - they were her life - she was one proud momma when Erin got married and most recently when Jason graduated...

We are setting up this fund to help Jason and kids at this time...Only give what you can afford.

I know from personal experience that Tara would have been in contact asking me "What can we do to help"

Rest in Peace Tara - You will be missed by all whose lives you touched.
