A NATIONAL RECORD
Tara Langdon made an official attempt on June 30, 2018 to break the 24-hour treadmill Guinness World Record. The current world record stands at 153.6 miles.
While she had to stop short at 22:06, she did shatter the previous 114-mile USA Record with 136.87 miles!
HELP US CHANGE LIVES
We are on a passionate mission to raise awareness and funding for The Herren Project. This nonprofit organization helps those struggling with substance abuse take the early steps to a life of sobriety. They also provide support to families of those dealing with a loved with fighting addiction. Through their Project Purple program, THP is bringing valuable education to children in a way that presents a life of sobriety as a popular choice.
From Tara: "I lost my father to addiction and overdose, witnessed friends and loved ones struggle with this terrible disease, and know personally the reality of substance abuse from all angles. I want to be a part of changing lives, breaking down stigmas, and giving someone back their life."
EVENT REWARDS
We have numerous rewards to offer in return for your contribution. Check out our donor tiers! Note that each tier receives the rewards from all previous tiers.
T-Shirts: If you select a tier that includes a T-shirt, please send us your shirt size. Shirts are cotton unisex, preshrunk. We currently have medium and large shirts on hand, but if you would like another size, we will order it, but it will take 2-3 weeks, so please be patient with us!
Photo Op: Donors who select the tier associated with the "Photo Op" will receive a special, signed 8x10 photo from the event!
