Tara McDade's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Tara McDade recently suffered from severe injuries during an Illinois storm when she broke the fall of a large tree on Saturday, June 12th, 2021. She currently lacks much of her mobility due to several broken bones throughout her body, including multiple ribs and vertebrae, a fracture in her skull and right ankle, and a broken right thumb (her guitar strumming thumb!).
Tara is incredibly loved by those around her, so we would all like to raise money to aid in her recovery and to help her get back on her feet (literally and figuratively) as she will not be able to work during this time and will require much care and attention from her loved ones. She is passionate about music, writing, and weightlifting and these are all things she will struggle with until she can make a full recovery.
Money raised will go towards getting Tara a laptop so that she can continue writing a novel she's been working on for nearly a year already, as well as any bills/rent/tuition/necessities she will need help with during this difficult time. It will also go to her family in Illinois that are tending to her as they are also caretaking for her grandmother at this time.
Tara is a rare soul that is a genuine light in every life she is a part of, always willing to lend an ear and a touch of humor to any situation. She thinks deeply, feels strongly, and gives so much of herself to others. All involved with her would be grateful for any contribution to help her through this trying time.
