Tara Davis World Championship Quest

2018 was a great year for me! I broke the under 20 indoor 60m Hurdle world record. I was the under 20 world leader in long Jump. I was the USA Junior long Jump Champion and broke the long jump record with a 22 foot Jump. I represented USA at the IAAF Under 20 World Championships in Finland and was the first American ever to medal in Long jump. I ranked #26 in the world and #7 in the USA among the professional athletes.

My goal for 2019 season is to compete with the worlds best and represent the USA at the World Championships. To do that I am going to need to compete against professional athletes at the highest level competitions. Many of these professional competitors have sponsors behind them to fund travel, lodging, other competition-related expenses that I do not have. I currently choose to stay in college to further my education, so I cannot sign a professional contract but I can ask for donations to help me cover these expenses for summer competitions.

I know I can compete against the worlds best athletes, I just need your support to help me get there.
