On November 5th, Teacher Ms. Pastore and I will be running our first marathon for our students at Theatre Arts Production Company "TAPCO."
We are running for donations to fund before and after school Art and Academic clubs for our middle and high school students.Teacher Anna Maria Pastore
This is something I have aspired to accomplish for a very long time. It has taken me a number of years of hard work, dedication and sometimes even pain to prepare myself to get to this level. This included a daily running regimen and training for numerous half marathons in rain, sunshine, cold, and heat; while juggling the commitments of teaching and raising a family.
I dedicate this marathon to my current, past and future TAPCO students in hope of inspiring them. Life and academic goals can be reached with perseverance, focus and a daily routine of hard work and dedication. They can do anything if they work hard, never give up, be good citizens of the world and believe in themselves. Principal Ron Link
Leading and teaching by example is a tried and true way for anyone to learn.
This past spring, I attended a race of our college & career readiness running club. Our young student runners so inspired me that I began training at the end to run the New York City Marathon to raise funds and awareness for and about them.
Our students are capable of achieving whatever they set their minds and hearts to accomplishing at TAPCO and beyond. Help us help them by giving generously today.
