Water to The People (Tanzania Mission)

My name is Joshua Robinson. As a high school senior, I will be participating this year (from May 25 to June 9) in a mission project with the A.D.R.A world relief organization in Tanzania. The purpose of this project is to provide the locals in that country with a clean water system, latrines, and other construction.

It was a huge blessing to be a part of a previous mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2012. I was able to help build two churches, donate money for children to go to school, provide the church members with recreational supplies for the youth, teach the children english, do a gymnastics show with my team, and provide music with my band. Without the necessary funds, I was unable to participate in the mission trip to Cambodia last year in 2013. Having seen, however, how God has used my school group to reach out to the world, I would love to participate and bless others again this year.

Could you imagine with me a life without the basic conveniences we take for granted, such as bathrooms and running water within our homes? Can you imagine having to walk sometimes miles to obtain water before you can bathe, cook, or eat? This situation is a reality for many people in Tanzania and I would like to assist in providing them with these necessities.
