When Alanna and Esther met many years ago, they had one major thing in common; they wanted to help the world. They wanted to make an impact. Here we are 16 years later making that dream come true!
As some of you may already know, we will be travelling to Tanzania, Africa for 6 weeks starting on May 1st 2015. We have been accepted into a volunteer program where we will be assisting in a local orphanage, helping with all of the everyday tasks. These range from cooking, cleaning, farming, teaching, creating activities for the kids and just being there to bring smiles to their faces. We may not be going for very long, but we believe that in the short 6 weeks we are there, we can most definitely make an impact. However, volunteering is not cheap, and this is why we are looking for your support.
We are hoping to be able to make the biggest difference we can, and this requires some extra cash. In the past, donations have gone towards anything from building new playgrounds for the orphanage to buying much needed equipment such as a working stove! We hope to be able to buy supplies that are specific to the children's needs once we are over there, however we will not know exactly what is needed until we arrive and see the conditions for ourselves. Some specific supplies can include anything from food, clothing, shoes, personal hygiene products, school/learning supplies, games, as well as any doctor/hospital visits for medications/treatment that we see fit! We hope to be able to provide as much as we can to these children, but this will require your assistance!!
100% of the donations are going to the children. Anything will help. No amount is too small, and everything is extremely appreciated. YOU will be helping these children. YOU will be making a difference with us. Even if you just share our link, that is helping our cause as well.
Help us help Africa. Help make our dreams come true. With your help, we can make a difference.
(If you would rather give an in person cash donation, and/or donate goods such as clothing, supplies etc...contact us personally!)
