BORN TO SHINE
For as long as I can remember, I have loved to perform! Anytime I step in front of an audience, a switch turns on inside of me and I come alive. My passion for the arts has only grown with time as I have immersed myself in a variety of experiences and opportunities, including:
~Self-choreographed "˜Song & Dance' shows at family gatherings, beginning at age 5
~A principal role in my school's 5th grade musical, including my first solo vocal performance
~The lead role of Laurey Williams in "˜Oklahoma' as a sophomore at Philadelphia Biblical University
~Singing and leading music for 600 middle school students and leaders at a Wyldlife retreat in 2013
~Ten years of original songwriting including music and lyrics, since age 14
At a leadership retreat in September 2011, when I was challenged to consider what I was made to do, it was as though a voice came flooding into my mind and my pen could barely keep up as I wrote these words on an index card:
~~ Tanya, I made you to run to the broken and weary teenagers in this world, carrying My comfort for their wounds, My light to shine into their darkness; to use your voice to bring glory and praise to Me alone and to sing My message of hope to their dry and empty spirits! ~~

ACTORS MODELS & TALENT FOR CHRIST (AMTC)
This past January, over a year later, I discovered an opportunity to audition for AMTC, a Christian non-profit organization with a mission to prepare and promote positive role models for careers in the entertainment industry "“ shining the light of Christ through mainstream media.
I auditioned for singing, songwriting, and acting and was honored to receive a callback for all three categories, thereby qualifying for The Bridge Training Program. Since enrolling, I have already learned so much!
The program is designed to help performers gain experience and knowledge in preparation for SHINE, a 6-day talent showcase in Orlando, where I will have the opportunity to audition for, interview with, and learn from top international agents, managers, and talent scouts.
AMTC is giving me an unparalleled opportunity for improvement, development and exposure as a musician and artist. I trust that my dreams are in God's hands and His control. I simply want to use my voice, my talents, and my life to impact others and point them to the God who has given me so much hope and purpose!

Empowered by your prayers, words of encouragement, and/or financial support, I'm excited to shine my light into the world "“ spreading God's comfort, love, and joy to those who need it most!
In terms of financial support, I hope to raise at least $3750 to help cover the following costs:
$2500:
~The Bridge tuition
~AMTC Photo Shoot & Styling Session
~SHINE registration fees
$400:
~Flight & travel expenses to and from Orlando
$700:
~Hotel & food accommodations during SHINE
$150:
~Opportunity to perform in two additional SHINE showcases
Any surplus funds I receive will be used toward furthering my career in the arts, through a variety of trainings, as well as recording a demo CD.
