Tank's Christmas Giveaway

"Santa isn't coming this year" is something I've never been told and I've never told my kids, but I know that there are plenty of people out there every year that have to explain to their kids that there won't be any presents under the tree this year. My goal is simply to decrease the number of "Christmas is canceled" conversations.
Originally I was going to donate $1000 of my own money (I still am) but after receiving multiple emails and direct messages of people who wanted to match my donation or contribute in some way, I decided to start this page to manage outside donations easier.
I have announced this GoFundMe on my Instagram page (www.instagram.com/tanksgoodnews) and will be accepting nominations (for self or otherwise) via email. Once emails have been received, I will be reaching out to families to vet them, to make sure that money winds up in the hands that will make the most impact and ensure that "Christmas miracle" feeling. More than anybody, I want to make sure the money is not squandered, but I assure you all, I will do my best to make sure the funds are distribitued thoughtfully and in a responsible manner. I take the task of distributing your funds very seriously.
Where applicable, I will ask for pictures with the families with the gifts they bought (or whatever they use the money for), but I hope you'll understand, due to the sensitive nature of this giveaway, that may not be possible. I want you all to know where this money went, but not at the expense of embarrassing the recipients.
