Hi Everyone! We are moved by the amount of people who have been supporting us since the pandemic began and we officially became a take-out restaurant. Having the opportunity to see new faces and old, keeping our employees working and the restaurant open has encouraged us to pay it forward.
Many of our community members are healthcare workers and first responders who have been risking their own health to help those with the COVID-19 virus. We all have friends and family members who are employed by grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, and are janitorial staff at local hospitals and would love the opportunity to show our appreciation for these essential employees. This is where YOU come in!
We are asking our awesome customers to please purchase a meal for one of these unsung heroes. This, in turn, will help us generate sales and keep our doors open. This idea has already been proven very effective by Bittersweet Kitchen, a breakfast/lunch restaurant located in Media. After all, they are the ones who came up with the idea to feed the frontline this way! Just to be clear, this is NOT us donating money, food, or gift cards. It’s ALL YOU! By donating to this mission, you will be feeding those who put themselves and their families at risk daily. You will be feeding those who keep your refrigerators stocked, prescriptions filled, and gas tanks full. You will also help us continue to turn out fresh and delicious food.
For every $500 donated, a medical office, hospital unit staff, or even an entire shift of grocery store employees could benefit. We understand that the pandemic has caused much financial stress for many people and their families. Please know that ANY amount would make a difference and be greatly appreciated.
We, as well as every other restaurant, have had to get very creative during this uncertain time. We hope that you will be able to help us, our employees, and the community in which you call home.
