****Long grateful post Alert*****Yesterday morning something unthinkable happened. our house caught on FIRE . It started upstairs in my daughters Daniels Tashiana apartment from a portable A/C which made everything up there catch on fire. Where the A/C was, is right near where my 6 Month old granddaughters swing usually is, which she’s in all the time. Thank God she wasn’t there at that time.
Tashie & my 4 y/o grandson ran downstairs to my house yelling FIREcall 911. Right after that we heard an explosion upstairs so we ran out of the house. So many fire trucks came attempting to put out the fire. They thought they succeeded but then it started back up again and then it did it again for the 3rd time before it was put out successfully.
Needless to say,Mostly everything upstairs is gone-it is a total loss. Downstairs where I stay has massive water damage down to my basement and my ceiling is caved in in my front room.
I am so grateful that my daughter, grandson, Amari McDuffie and myself all made it out safely because it could have gone another way. . I thank God for covering us and being our protector. He is a very present help in the time of trouble and is our strength.
Besides the shock & disbelief, We are all doing ok. We believe and trust God to restore us with even more. We believe for bigger and better. Even through this, I am still blessed beyond measure.
