Tango K9

Tango K9 is a non profit organisation that focuses on the protection of conservation. The organisation uses highly specialised and skilled dogs that aid in the protection of species and the prevention of poaching in the Greater Kruger area.  These dogs are exceptionally trained and are making a huge difference in the fight to save the rhinos. Their impact on the protection of the animals and environment in which they work is massive and units like Tango K9 are vital in terms of conservation protection. 

The team is made of a group of talented, passionate and hardworking people and dogs! The handlers work day in and day out to ensure that the dogs are always at their best and put themselves in dangerous situations in order to protect the animals and the environment that has been placed in their care. The job that they do is incredible and they are all outstanding individuals who work behind the scenes and do so much for conservation. 

This organisation and cause is extremely close to my heart and I am raising donations on their behalf. Conservation has always been something that I care deeply about and I cannot think of a cause more worthy than this. Since moving home to South Africa I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know the canine unit and witness firsthand how hard they work. This is a team that is extremely deserving of support as they do not work for thanks but rather for the greater good and for the love of their dogs and conservation. 

Any small donation would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way.  Rhino poaching is something that is not going away and it is is currently devastating the worlds rhino population. These peaceful animals need all the help they can get.  Donations will be used to help Tango K9  obtain the necessary safety equipment that will help protect them in the field as well as help to run the unit on a daily basis as the unit is completely funded by donations.
