Tamra and Tony Hamlett

Hi, my name is Mara Fricker, and I am raising funds for a deserving couple who is going thru some hardship because of a medical situation. I have worked with Tamra for the past three years, and she is the type of person that would do anything for you. Well, now she needs our help. Tamra was recently diagnosed with cancer, and last week her husband experienced a

heart attack and is in the hospital. Both of them are not able to work currently, and this is creating financial hardship for their everyday expenses and medical bills. The only thing they should be worrying about is getting better.

To help offset some of their medical and personal expenses, I am asking

for your help.

A message from Tamra posted on facebook: I would like to inform family and friends an update on our health issues.

Tony had an unexpected, severe, almost fatal heart attack on his way to work Thursday night in Piqua. He is in hospital and had emergency surgery resulting in 4 stents in the left side of his heart. Progress is slow. Do not yet know what is in store for him in recovery; just taking it day by day.

While this was something unexpected: 3 weeks ago, I had a scan to find the source of a health issue and discovered I have stage 3 Kidney cancer in my right kidney. It will have to be removed along with a mass that has grown very large on it.

So we both will be in some recovery at the same time.

It has been difficult to share this kind of news as it leaves one with many unanswered questions.

Prayer:

Healing, we know God will. Transition for Tony as he comes home and that I may be able to handle his care.

Financial: Just need to be able to keep the house going. This will put most of the burden of income on me.
