Tampa Bay Film Society Scholarship Fundraiser

Our 2nd annual Scholarship/Fundraiser event will take place on Saturday, November 2nd at Banquet Masters, 13355 49th St N, Clearwater. This year’s theme is the Roaring 20’s. A fun filled night of dinner, dancing, live entertainment provided by Bill Castner and a few surprises. Our goal is to raise $7,000.00 dollars that will be used for the Scholarship and Fundraiser event. The Scholarship will help a graduating High School Media Student from right here in the Tampa Bay area. Giving a student access to further his/her education will only reward us as a community.
Our first Scholarship recipient was J’mya Brooks. Her plan is to become a filmmaker concentrating on documentaries.
In order to meet this goal, we are asking for donations and/or sponsorships from local businesses and individuals such as yourself. By giving to this event, you'll be supporting the Tampa Bay Film Society and helping us to assist those in our community by providing:
• Educational workshops with Industry Professionals.
• Access to student filmmakers of all ages, to work on film projects and improve their craft.
• Showcase local filmmakers as well as films from around the world.
• Film 5 projects per year.
This is a great opportunity to get exposure for your business and support your local, independent, film industry in the Tampa Bay area.
