Tammy Michaels Accessible Vehicle Fundraiser

In 2019, at just 42 years old, Tammy Michaels was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. For those who don't know, ALS is a terminal neuromuscular disease that causes the motor neurons in the body to slowly die and robs a person of their ability to move, speak and eventually even breathe on their own.

Despite this diagnosis, Tammy is a true inspiration! She is the Mother of 3 Adults Sons, a devoted wife of 24 years and an all around amazing person. She is a champion for ALS research fundraising and is a "voice" of her community even though she can no longer talk. Even as this disease continues to take from her, she continues to give everything SHE can to empower and educate and inspire everyone around her.

Currently, Tammy has an unsafe accessible vehicle and this campaign is designed to help get a solid down payment on something more suitable to her needs.
