Help Tammy Hinson Beat Cancer!

Over her life, miss Tammy Hinson has made it her business to help anyone she knew was struggling, whether she personally knew them or not.   Her life has touched so many others in a positive way.  

It is, however, not her nature to seek out help when it is her turn to be in need.  Right now, she is in the early stages of receiving treatment for cancer.  This road will be long and hard, and although she has a great many friends and family who will be there to support and love her during this process, there are practical matters to be considered as well.  As such, we are starting this campaign to try and provide a little financial relief as her treatment may progressively make it more challenging to keep up her normal work pace, which we all know is a marvel to behold under normal circumstances.

Everyone knows someone who has battled this particular foe.    It's never about one person.  It's about family, and friends, and a sense of helplessness as you watch someone you love deal with the endless challenges.  We often wonder what we can do to help.  In something like this, it really isn't about the 5 dollars, or the 10.  It's about a smile you can bring to a person's face when she looks through the list of donors, knowing that you cared enough to do a small thing to help.  Speaking as a cancer survivor myself, I can tell you with conviction that it's the little things that mean the most.
