My name is Dan Hartman and I'm setting this up for my nephew, David, and his mother's family.
Let me tell you a bit about David's desire to have this set up and what the funds are for...
David recently turned 25. Nineteen years ago, David's father (my brother) was tragically and unexpectedly taken away from his wife, son, and all who loved him.
Tammy, David's mother and my brother's wife, courageously, gracefully, and lovingly poured her all into protecting their son and raising him well!
We (David's Hartman family) like to take a beach vacation each summer. We have been blessed to have David and his young bride vacation with us for the past several of these beach trips. This summer was no different except that David's mother had recently (August 2nd) undergone a lengthy surgery to correct several heart issues she had.
David and his bride, Melissa, were reassured by Tammy that all was well and that she was recovering nicely from the operation! In fact, Tammy had encouraged them to please still go on the vacation with us. We departed on August 5th for Gulf Shores, AL.
While there, we recieved word that something happened and Tammy wasn't doing well. That news quickly changed to the most horrifying news that could have been. Tammy suddenly and unexpectedly passed away.
I don't want my nephew (or the rest of his Moreland side of the family) to have to think about the financial portions of laying his mother to rest. He has been through far too much loss in his short 25 years...
Tammy did not have adequate insurance or other means in place to cover end of life expenses.
If you've read this far, please prayerfully consider helping overwhelm my nephew and the Moreland and Hartman families with the monies necessary to cover Tammy's end of life expenses! If there are any funds given over and above what David understands those costs to be, we will update this page with exactly how we plan to disperse those funds in ways that will honor the life of Tammy!
