Tammie Almendinger's Battle with Stage 4 Cancer

In 2020, 56-year-old Tammie Almendinger was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. It has aggressively spread to her brain, liver, and lymph nodes.

 

Tammie worked as a teacher's aide in Special Education for almost 24 years but was forced into retirement last month due to her illness. She worked during her radiation and chemotherapy treatments because she truly loved her job. Her students and colleagues are what gave her joy and strength.

 

Unfortunately, Tammie's health has since declined, and she now requires some financial assistance. Any money raised will help her with medical and personal living expenses.
