Tamika Knockout Cancer

***Update: Tamika will have her final surgery to complete her breast cancer journey which was postponed due to many complications. She will not be able to physically do anything but rest and heal following her 2 surgeries June 14 2019 and July 1 2019 with a 11 week recovery time frame between both surgeries. During this time all of her financial responsibilities will fall on her oldest daughter 24 year old Kori Boyd! Any additional donations will help Kori take care of home financially for her mother and 3 younger siblings while she works and nurses her mother back to health. The $2020 raised during 2017 is greatly appreciated and was used for medical bills from chemo, doctors/specialists visits, multiple surgeries to other mounting financial responsibilities.***

Old: Tamika in Grand Rapids, MI-a single mother of 4 is fighting for her life to beat the odds and overcome cancer. Her children ranging in ages from  8 to 22, have been supporting her during this 7 month journey.  In October of 2016 Tamika was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. Tamika recently finished 6 months of one of the most intense chemotherapy treatments.  Just recently, she had a double mastectomy and experienced major complications that required her to undergo a second emergency surgery two days after the initial double mastectomy.

Your support will help this single mother who has been unable to work since November 2016, with increasing medical bills from chemo, doctors/specialists visits, multiple surgeries to other mounting financial responsibilities.
