Tamika's Transition Surgery

I would like to be a prime example for transgender women of color and transgender women of the world. I want to show others that life is possible you just have to believe in self without believing in self nothing is possible; it is meaningless. We transgender woman of the world we have meaning, we are meaning.

I am  a 33-year-old transgender woman seeking funds for my transition surgery. I have been struggling since deciding to transition and have run into social, physical and financial problems. I have been abandoned by my family since coming out to them.

I am currently homeless but staying at a shelter in New Orleans.

The funds for this surgery would give me the confidence to feel safe emotionally, physically in my body. The transition will also help me secure employment and housing.

My appointment is for surgery is tentatively in March 2019.

I am currently in school pursuing my GED. I am hard working and have a positive mindset in spite of the many challenges I am currently facing in my life.
