Tami Ray Bicycle Accident Recovery

Donation protected

On June 6th, 2017, Tami Ray was in a horrific bicycle accident on her way home from work in Beaverton, Oregon. As a result, she ended up in the Intensive Care unit in the Oregon Health & Science University hospital for 4 days, followed by another 5 days in the hospital Trauma Unit.

Tami is on the road to recovery but still in excruciating pain. In addition to broken and fractured bones, a bruised spinal cord, contusions and a damaged coratid artery, she will never regain full use of her right arm and will have to learn to become left-handed. She will also remain in her cervical collar until at least September as she goes through her recovery process.

Tami isn't asking for much and just needs assistance with some basic living expenses while she goes through this recovery process. Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated and makes a huge difference!

UPDATE: Tami goes in for surgery to try and repair her right arm on Sept 26th.  Recovery from this surgery will take a year or more. She will be unable to work until her arm is at least partially  healed  - estimated to be around March at the very soonest.
