Tam Trinh Family Support

On February 4th, Tam Trinh passed away suddenly when he suffered from an unexpected heart attack while at home with his family. Tam leaves behind his wife and 3 very young children. Tam was the sole provider for his family and just recently moved his entire family from California to Arizona so that he could join our research team at the Biodesign Center for Applied Structural Discovery.  Working for Dr. Wei Liu, Tam was preparing to begin work on several exciting new collaborative research projects between ASU and the Mayo Clinic. We are extremely saddened by Tam’s sudden death and our hearts and prayers go out to his family. They were all very excited to start their new lives in Arizona and the kids just recently began attending school. This has been an absolute shock to Tam’s family, friends, and colleagues.

From the first time I met Tam I could tell he was a very good person who was working very hard to provide the best for his family. His colleagues have told me that Tam gave so much of himself to others and I could see that in him. It is without doubt that Tam’s sudden death has shocked everyone that ever knew him but not as much as it has his family.

We would like to help out as much as possible, so we are setting up this GoFundMe account to help his family with the many unexpected costs, like funeral and medical expenses, that have come their way.

All funds received for Tam will go directly to his family.
