What is Talking Justice?
The Human Be-In along with Zack Ritter are putting together a series of very important conversations, touching on topics of Race, Gender, Class, and Spirituality. The conversation hope to build on our ability to affect systemic change through community building, political action, and critical consciousness raising.
Enjoy interactive learning experiences with an award-winning slam-poet and Literary Director of the dA Center of the Arts (Matt Sedillo), the Director for Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice (Javier Hernandez), a diversity consultant and professor (Zack Ritter, PhD), and a Muslim-Jewish Fellowship (New Ground) Director, Aziza Hasan.
Why Are We Doing This?
We want to give our community an opportunity to experience and learn from remarkable individuals who will share, connect and fuel the conversation forward.
We Need Your Help
In order to create this, we need help raising the budget funds necessary for producing this month long program in Los Angeles. Funds are needed to support the speakers and the organizations they represent, to rent equipment for audio and other production needs, and to help us cover staffing for each event.
Individual, Corporate, or Organizational Sponsorship opportunities are available as well. Sponsors will get logos presence on all event collateral, email outreach, and social media marketing.
