Talia's Wish 2017

Good Morning everyone,

I hope all is having an incredible day. I think being active and excersise is super important . This year my wish for the children in Morocco is for them to have sports equipment. Such as soccer balls, footballs, basket balls, soccer goals and much much more. I know it might not seen like it but we are all very privileged to play sports and have coaches to help and teach us. Since I am so lucky to play soccer and other sports I wanted to give the children a chance to enjoy the stuff I love to do.

I have been doing this since my parents and I adopted my brothers, so since I was around 5 or 6. My wish since then was to double the funds I got the year before. So far I have been able to do this with your help.  When we went to Morocco I wanted to take all the kids home but knew it would be  be possible but I wanted to do something to help the children and the orphanage. So I stared to fundraise for different things every year just around my birthday.

The first year I wanted the children to have shoes but the kids at the orphanage needed milk so the first year we gave them milk. The second year we gave them warm clothes. The third year we gave them diapers. The fourth year we gave them milk again. And last year my first wish of them having shoes came true.  This past February, funds raised  last year were able to give over 150 children new shoes. I think this is a good idea because children need tons of time to be active and have fun during the day. I know that Achouak and Wafa and the caregivers at Lalla Hasna can help my wish come true again.

We hope to visit Casablanca as a family soon to visit the orphanage and see the kids.   Thank you for sharing your blessings and for warming hearts of the children.
